[rules for using the halal mark]
The “Halal” conformity mark is the conformity mark of the Voluntary Certification System according to the canons of Islam — the “Halal” System (“Halal”) (hereinafter — the VCS “Halal”), a graphic sign indicating that Halal products comply with the canons of Islam, applied to products, shipping documents, informational and advertising materials.
Permission to use the “Halal” conformity mark is issued by the Halal product certification body LLC “NORTH CAUCASUS HALAL CERTIFICATION CENTER” (hereinafter — the CB). The applicant may use only the “Halal” conformity mark logo provided by the CB on its products and in all external and internal documents. The “Halal” conformity mark may be used for certified products, documentation directly related to the production of certified Halal products, and for marking premises / tools / equipment used for the production of certified Halal products.
All applicant labels / packaging bearing the “Halal” conformity mark must be approved in advance by the CB. The “Halal” conformity mark may be used only on products for which a Halal certificate of conformity has been issued and which are indicated in the Halal certificate of conformity or its annex.
The “Halal” conformity mark is provided to applicants by the CB in a working format and may be used only in the original or black-and-white color. Its design / proportion ratios may not differ from those provided by the CB. The mark must be clearly visible on product labels / packaging and may not be covered by other inscriptions / logos.
In the event of improper use of the “Halal” conformity mark logo and / or the issued Halal certificate of conformity, the CB informs the applicant of the need to immediately stop unauthorized use of the “Halal” conformity mark logo and / or the issued Halal certificate of conformity. If the applicant again improperly uses the “Halal” conformity mark logo and / or the issued Halal certificate of conformity, the validity of the certificate is suspended or terminated. In the absence of immediate corrective actions by the applicant, the CB has the right to apply to the courts of the Russian Federation.
