Receipt, Registration, and Review of the Application
To carry out certification work for products and services, the applicant submits an application for certification to the “North Caucasus Center for Halal Certification” in the prescribed form. The applicant attaches documents to the application: annex to the application — company details, list of products with their composition and certifiable services, a brief description of production and services to be provided, as well as constituent documents. After receiving, registering, and reviewing the attached documents, the “North Caucasus Center for Halal Certification” sends a contract for paid certification services and an invoice.
Application Analysis and Enterprise Identification
After signing the contract and partial payment for certification, our specialists proceed to analyze the application with the attached documents and identify the product and service declared for voluntary certification. (During the study of the composition of products and certifiable services, the specialist may request additional information regarding the raw materials and ingredients used for production and the applicant's ability to provide services in accordance with the Halal standard.) The result of this stage is the expert's conclusion on the compliance or non-compliance of the composition of the declared products and certifiable services for decision-making on the application.
Enterprise Inspection and Issuance of the Halal Certificate
Based on a positive decision on the application, the specialists of the “North Caucasus Center for Halal Certification” conduct an audit of the enterprise in accordance with the inspection program. During the audit, special attention is paid to the company's quality control and safety of the products and services provided, the compliance of the declared product composition with the actual raw materials and ingredients used at the enterprise, identification of raw material and ingredient suppliers, and ensuring traceability at all stages. Based on the audit results, an audit report is drawn up, indicating the audit results, references to supporting documents and materials, and, if necessary, setting deadlines for eliminating identified non-conformities. After making the decision to issue a certificate, based on the analysis of the audit report and other documents provided by the applicant as evidence of compliance with the established requirements, the applicant is issued a “Halal” certificate from the “North Caucasus Center for Halal Certification” confirming the possibility of producing products and providing “Halal” services, and permission to use the conformity mark, followed by entering information about the certified enterprise in the register.
