This Policy explains what data the North Caucasus Halal Certification Center LLC (“the Center”, “we”) receives when you use halalcertification.ru and when you apply for certification services, how we use it and how we protect it. By using the website you agree to the terms of this Policy.

Who processes your data

The data operator is NORTH CAUCASUS HALAL CERTIFICATION CENTER LLC (OGRN 1216100005450, INN 6167200382), address: 57b–45 Gorsovetskaya St., Rostov-on-Don, 344030, Russia. Personal data is processed in accordance with Russian Federal Law No. 152-FZ of 27 July 2006 “On Personal Data”.

What data we receive

We follow the principle of data minimisation and collect only what is required to provide certification services and to answer enquiries. The website has no registration forms, no customer accounts and no payment processing.

• Technical data — browser type and language, date and time of your visit, anonymised page-view statistics. This data cannot identify you.
• Enquiry data — if you write to us by email or messenger, we receive your name, email address or phone number and the content of your message.
• Applicant data — when submitting an application, the company provides details of its contact persons: full name, position, work phone and email, together with constituent and production documents.

Why we process data

We use the information received strictly for the following purposes:

• reviewing applications, auditing enterprises and issuing Halal certificates;
• maintaining the register of certified enterprises and confirming the authenticity of issued certificates;
• answering questions, enquiries and complaints from consumers and partners;
• complying with the law and with the rules of the voluntary certification system, including retention of certification records.

Public certificate register

Information about certified enterprises — company name, certification scope, certificate number and validity period — is published in the public register on this website and is available to any visitor. This is an inherent part of certification: the register allows consumers to verify a certificate independently. Personal data of individuals is not published in the public register.

We do not sell your data

The Center does not sell, rent out or transfer your data to third parties for marketing purposes. Access is limited to employees and experts of the Center who need it for their work and who are bound by confidentiality obligations. Disclosure is possible only upon a substantiated request from state authorities in the manner prescribed by law, and where it is reasonably necessary to protect the rights, property or safety of the Center, our clients or other persons.

Storage and protection

Personal data of citizens of the Russian Federation is processed and stored on servers located in Russia. We apply organisational and technical safeguards: restricted staff access, encrypted connections (HTTPS) and backups. Certification records are retained for the period established by the rules of the voluntary certification system and by law, after which they are destroyed.

Cookies

The website uses cookies and local storage — in particular to remember your chosen language and to keep pages working correctly. We do not display advertising and do not use tracking for advertising purposes. See our Cookie Policy for details.

We do not train AI on your data

Your enquiries, documents and certification records are never used to train artificial intelligence models.

Your rights

Under Federal Law No. 152-FZ you have the right to:

• obtain information about what data we process about you and on what grounds;
• request that data be corrected, blocked or destroyed if it is incomplete, outdated or obtained unlawfully;
• withdraw your consent to the processing of personal data;
• appeal against our actions to Roskomnadzor or in court.
